Privacy Policy for FirstTrack

1. Introduction FirstTrack ("the App") is designed to help users create and update tasks, goals, categories, and stages of life. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how data is collected, stored, and managed within the App.

2. Data Collection & Permissions The App prioritizes user privacy. Most data is stored locally or in your personal iCloud. However, to provide specific features, we interact with the following:

  • User Input: Tasks, goals, notes, and categories are manually entered by you.
  • Health Data (Apple HealthKit): With your explicit permission, the App may read specific data types (e.g., Sleep Analysis, Screen Time) to calculate "Life Remaining" metrics. This data is processed locally and is never sold or used for marketing/advertising purposes.
  • Calendar Access: With your permission, the App may access your device’s calendar to sync tasks and goals.
  • Purchase Data: We track the status of your active subscriptions or lifetime purchases to unlock premium features.

3. Data Storage

  • Local Storage: All personal task and goal data is stored locally on your device.
  • iCloud: If enabled, data syncs across your devices using Apple’s iCloud/CloudKit. We (the developers) do not have access to your private iCloud data.

4. Third-Party Services We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate the App:

  • RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage and validate in-app purchases (Lifetime Deal and Subscriptions). RevenueCat collects anonymous App User IDs and purchase receipt data to ensure you get access to the features you paid for. You can review RevenueCat’s privacy policyhere.

5. Payment Information All financial transactions are handled directly by Apple via the App Store. We do not process, store, or have access to your credit card or banking information.

6. Data Sharing We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.

  • Health Data: Data accessed via HealthKit is not shared with third parties.
  • Service Providers: We may share anonymous purchase data with service providers (like RevenueCat) solely for the purpose of app functionality.

7. Security We rely on the security of Apple’s device storage and iCloud infrastructure to protect your data. While no method of transmission is 100% secure, we utilize standard iOS security protocols (Sandboxing, CloudKit encryption).

8. User Rights

  • Edit/Delete: You can edit or delete your data directly within the App.
  • Revoke Permissions: You can revoke access to Apple Health or Calendar at any time via your iOS Settings.

9. Children’s Privacy The App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Policy Updates We may update this policy to reflect changes in our features (e.g., new integrations). Significant changes will be communicated via an app update.
